Description

This light, fluffy mix is formulated for cuttings and seedlings. Its finer texture is easily penetrated by the thread like roots of seedlings and cuttings. This is a mixture of sifted peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, horticultural charcoal, dolomite lime and trace elements. This mix is packaged dry. Moisten it with 1 cup of very hot water per quart of mix before using. If you don’t use all that you have moistened, dry it out and store it in the bag for later use. It is especially good for African violet leaf cuttings, sucker and crown re-roots, and seeds. This offering is for a three quart bag of Propagating Mix. The contents of the 3 quart bag will fill approximately sixteen 3” pots, or ten 4” pots. The playing card in the photo is for size comparison and is not part of the listing.
