Description

Melocactus matanzanus (Dwarf Turk's Cap) This is one of the smallest and most popular of this species. 4" pot size rooted plant with no cephalium,similar to the one shown in last photo; shape and color may vary. Plant will ship bare root (no pot, but some soil around roots). Grows 3.5" tall and is winter hardy to 30 degrees. Flowers: rose pink to carmine (spring-fall). Great for landscape or as a potted indoor plant. Handle with care - Plant has spines. When ordering, be mindful that living cactus can freeze. If you order to an area that is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, we will not replace/refund for cold damage. Please consider purchasing plant until the weather is more suitable.
